To post an image you need to have the url address of the jpg, gif, etc. Then post the link with [img] tags on either end so it looks like this...
[img} httpvecausux.jpg [/img]
[img} httpvecausux.jpg [/img]

o.k...i have almost rounded the learning curve on this one. Tell me what is wrong with linking to another site this way:

putting a url into the "video" button displays correctly but for some reason the "image" button only throws up a red box. These pictures even have an imbed code like youtube videos do but using them in the link box gets me nothing but red x. same for pasting it into the text.
Will someone just post the code they used to post a a succesfully displaying image please?

If you right click on whatever image you want to hotlink, it might give you the option to copy image url.
